Category 5 hurricane (cyclone in that region of the world) to hit a city of 14.3 million people in India. Why is this not news?

I actually did hear about this on CNN Headline News this morning. [;)]

Its not news because its in a DIFFERENT part of the world. All the stuff happenening here that is in our news does not fill thier news either.

They are much too busy rewriting stories in order to spin in their interest to really notice real world stuff (hinting at the John Cena interview ...)
