Hi,

Semi-newbie coaster creator. Was wondering, which coaster game is 'the best?'

I've picked up URCD, and URDC, and enjoy both, and since finding this site and others, I see out there is also NoLimits, HyperRails, and Scream Machines.

I notice NoLimits has the most posts in these Forums, is NoLimits a hands down winner to the others?

Thanks,

JDC

Hey, I just saw the 'Poll' on 'Which is the Best'. I'm going to go get NoLimits, sounds like it's pretty popular then Scream Machines. Thanks for reading.

I personally think NoLimits is the best. Its the most realistic, and has the best graphics and sounds. The editor for building the tracks is really good also.

[stupid]You can do custom: Tracks, supports, terrain textures, terrain(hills etc), cartextures, 3d object that you can plug into the game, and way more. Plus most of the things are not hard at all if you understand them but take a very long time if you want good results.

If you're like me (I also switched from URCD to NL), then you will be truly blown away by NL. It is very realistic compared to UR (not to mention better graphics too) and the sensation of speed is excellent. Though it takes MUCH more work to learn the NL editor, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I've had NL for a few weeks now...Best money i've spent on software. The editor is easy to learn, difficult to master. Spend a weekend and you'll get the basics. I learn something new everyday...which is FUN! As for the sim...well, I hope I'm not the only one who watches with my hands up and jumping out of my seat to get max air [;)] Seriously...c'mon fess up...I know you all do that!!

Change the map/environmnets, wow, that'd be great over URCD. Thanks for all the replies.
