Well, I tried compressing my coaster video, which it was 684 megabytes in size. WinZip only compressed it to 591 megs. But, that is less than 1/3 of the entire video, so it would really be 1,500 to 1,700 megs. How do I compress this further? (It's a 33 minute long video on all the parks I went to)

REPLY IF YOU HAVE TIPS!!!!

I would say make one video per park, I don't think anyone will want to host a 500 meg video much less anything overa gig

If you have quicktime pro7 you could load the video up in that, then export the video as .mpg4 compression. Or open it up in Windows Movie Maker, Save the Movie, and then select the settings that will give you a good resolution and yet small file size. I will give you an estimation of the file size before you save

The problem with movie maker is that it usually makes the quality awfully crappy, regardless of the resolution. It's probably better to lower the resolution instead of the quality, but movie maker doesn't do that well with it, unless you can find just the right settings.

funny, I got 54,900,000.

Umm, try getting a Divx encoder. Or split it by park or song usage (that is if you play a full song)

load up in windows movie maker, export video, select reasonable video size and quality. Export. Done!

Don't recompress. Just split it up... Or go back into the original file and turn up the compression on it, and turn down the resolution.
