I think it should be some what regulated like electricity and water. Gas, in a lot of cases, is a neccessity to go about our modern life styles. I'm guessing Bushy wants to veto it simply because he has his hand in the oil industry.

Good law as far as im concerned. If Bush vetoes this his approval rating will drop even more (If that is physically possible [;)]).

well.. DUHHHHHHHH[lol][lol].. beans.. i hope you didn't put a lot of time and effort into reaching that conclusion, i mean, this IS the guy who obviously thinks it's his job to bring on Armageddon.. why shouldn't he "be blessed financially" for doing "the lord's will" in iraq..

I find it odd that it is just before hurricane season and this is coming up. Anyone else notice that? Anyone also notice where the majority of the US oil is at?

This makes great sense. If Bush knows whats good for him he will pass this bill. I still give his some respect but if he vetoes this he will need to have a damn good lawyer.

even if the price of gas goes down because of this (or at least no higher than it is), that still doesn't get us away from oil. but hey, if congress thinks we shouldn't have to pay as much as we are, I'm all for it.

Ack, good thing his time is almost up. Hopefully our next set of canidates won't be as lame as Bush/Kerry was. If they are, I'm gonna vote for the communist pary. THat'll show our democracy.

no i mean his dad wouldn't let people get gouged during the first gulf war.. he promised stiff penalties.. however i do think jr. will veto anything like it..
