You can pick a name for it yourself.

Next time you might want to consider editting your post, by pressing the edit button above it, if you have something to add. Because you had three posts saying you want to participate [lol] (got rid of the first one since it was basically the same as the other)

There's a problem with the template file. The brake runs are too short! With the 7-row trains, a train on the the finals brakes does NOT clear the 3rd brake run.

I had the same problem. Simply just modify the brakes or their trigger position. They allow you to make minor chandes to the template as he said.

--> : You must have missed that last image if you are asking me to wish you luck [:p]

I saw it, but I still need even more luck, lol.

Anyway, I'm working on the contest, and the dang drop is nearly impossible to smooth out. Any tips? There's this big bump when I go over the frickin verticy. How can it be controlled??? If it can't, then hopefully, the people who ride it won't notice because I don't really notice it in the sim, but when I ride the track in the editor, escecially when fast, I can feel it very easily.

I am in!

2 questions.

1.) can there be more cars on the train like 8 or 9?

2.) should there be close to the orignale slc in loops (meaning 5 or less) or can we do more if we chose?

ohh...another question: i know we can make minor changes to the breaks and stuff, but can i lower the breaks about 10 feet? they're just a tad too high for my design [;)]

OK, Count me in, I guess....

Don't know how I'll ever finish with contests going on simultaneously at CS and C2k, plus, 3 other projects I've been wanting to finish....but I guess I'll throw something together and maybe get it out of the way before the CS Challenge.

I'm done till the MCBR and the track looks allready very smootht to me, only a few transition bumps.

Whoa, what happend to my post? Anyway, I still have some smoothing trouble. But most of it is unoticeable.

Oh, yeah, I have this twist that's at 1.7 lateral g's in one spot. I know it doesn't cross the limit, but people might complain that its a red g. It's also there only for 1/10 of a second. What can I /should I do?

Hey coasteragent - go to display/show vertices and if you can't find the bump without the vertex being there, it's just an illusion...it happens sometimes when you have a polygon-shperoid-thingy in your way...it helps your brain notice the direction changes.

Nope, you have to work your way around them, however you can attach things to them, like sidebeams, or other support structures.

Yes, the trains can go out, as long as you keep the track inside.

As stated in the rules; no

No, you are free to create your own design, there is no limit on the number of inversions.

No, as stated in the rules you are not allowed to alter any of the existing track. The only things you can modify is the last vertex on the lift, and the vertex at the end of the brakerun. You are not allowed to change it's location, just the control points may be altered.

Well, keep in mind this is just a qualification round, you just need to "pass", which won't be too hard as long as you submit. This means you don't have to set the standard as high as usual.
However, probably a trackpack will be uploaded so everyone can laugh at you [;)] [lol]

I think you are able to change the brake settings. I did. But let's just let him answer, just in case.
