Sounds good. I just want to clear something up that always seems to become an issue, will you judge whether the track stays inside the boundaries by what you see in the editor or sim? I know there'll be someone who gets that wrong unless you clearly say which one you're looking at.

All of the boundary issues will be seen from the editor, all height issues will be judged from the sim. i.e. The track over the I-beams cannot come in contact with them. A better way to be sure you don't mess up, just be careful. Don't cut it so close that you aren't sure. Be sure you're safe and you won't have to question.

Sorry bro, but the deadline has passed. No more people will be let in. It is unfair to all of the people whom have made an effort to get going on this already. You can DL the template and upload for the weekly awards, but I will not count it in with the other coasters in this contest. Sorry, next time.

-Edit-

Forgot to add, upload your track to the exchange and link to it in this topic when you are finished. If you'd rather keep it out of reach for the other competitors, feel free to e-mail it to either myself, Myriad, or SFMM Homie. But, clearly state that we should have gotten them because e-mail is not 100% sure-fire.

We can make Dueling/Racing Coasters Right? Say yes or I'll have to kill you! And come up with a brand new idea... [:(]

Hrm... That is a serious bendage of the rules.
"*Only one launch OR lift is allowed. You cannot have one of each."
Seems kinda hard to make a dueling coaster with only one lift hill. However, I think I will be nice and change it to "...per side/circuit."
So, yes, feel free to duel away.

Iron man, is it okay that the supports already in the templated change style? Because im converting my wood supports to steel, and it converts all your supports that were in the template to L beams. Is that okay? Or do i have to spend like an age making sure non of your supports are changed?

Also, you say the rides must be realistic. My ride is actually insane in one section, but its rideable, all gs are in check, it would just leave you with a bruise on your hip most probably (very much like Magnum Force did to me with its huge lateral spike!) . That still counts as realistic right, as some parks do have some violent coasters?

Anyway i hope you guys are doing well. Ive almost finished trackwork so i can spend ages on the custom bracing. Good luck guys [:D]

Jpe, go ahead and change the beams. I'm not going to be that anal over it. I made the template, I'm pretty familiar with what should be what. As long as they don't move, I'm cool. As for the realistic-ness, you be the judge of that...

for now. [devilish]

Hm... interesting question. lol
The deadline was posted up there, but somehow got erased when the contest started. Oh well, here it is now and sorry for the late response.

Tracks are to be submitted via the exchange or e-mail. Post the link in this thread to make things easier to find. Also let me know when you e-mail your track so we do not loose it over snail mail (I have yahoo[:p]). My address is metalheadfranz@yahoo.com

Deadline is Saturday July 15th at 21:00(US)

Crap, i'd totally forgot about this contest since i'm working on a few more contests.
Sorry iron to dissapoint you, but 2 weeks is not enough for me to create a decent ride. I'll probably will create a ride sometime on the template. But then outside the contest. Oh well, Good luck to the rest.

I doubt I'll be submitting anything either, the next two weeks are the finals of the NL tournament, and I don't want to miss that. I started something at the beginning of this contest, but it sin't finished and isn't really up to scratch. So yeah, don't expect anything from me. [V]

If you guys can't finish in time, I'd still like to see something from you guys just to know the contest wasn't a total scrap. Wing and Dirk, I was so looking forward to your rides, if you don't mind, I'd still like to see what you've come up with thus far. It won't count for anything towards the contest and will be kept confidential, same goes for the rest of you. But lets hope that nobody else gets to that point. [;)]
