Finally, after months making the workbench, I present you with Covemont Mills. My RCT2 is a little bit messed up and ca't choose individual scenery items while making a workbench. I looked for a park with all the scenery I wanted, and I found it, Premier Amusement Park by Supreme Screamer. I asked him if I could use the scenery items and just totally redesign the landscape. I got the all go, and worked on making it on and off since December. I ran into a HUGE problem that took me a month to fix. The problem was that the guests couldn't enter the park for some reason connected to the 8 cars trainer. I finally asked around and got it fixed. The park is in the early stages right now, but I had to hear some feedback of what I have so far.

Overview of what I have so far.

The entrance plaza. You can see a restaurent, the entrance, a ticket booth, and the back of the season pass office.
Image

The wooden coaster at the front of the park that is most likely to be named the Covemont Cyclone.(So original)
Image

Intamin launched coaster with ja227's new Storm Runner trains. The hacking job on the coaster took me 5+ tries. I had never done one on this scale.

Thats it for now. If you want any other screens, just tell me and I will get them. Your comments are always appreciated.

Where did you get ja227's trains? I've been looking for them but can't find them.[dunno]

Good to hear you got the entrance thing cleared up. Out of curiosity, how did yoou fix it?
I like the look of the park, you have very nice detailwork and the colors are pretty decent though they are quite gaudy. Keep up the good work.

Well it was something that had to do with the zero clearances, and it made every path section like a single section of path so that they couldn't get passed it. Since it is that path that took up a whole square, I couldn't tell. Someone over at RCT2.com suggested it.

Here is where I got the Storm Runner trains.

It's looking nice! Thanks for those cars too, didn't know they existed, but they own the standard giga ones.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I finished the midway except for one building. I am going to have to do the supports for the Intamin before I build there. Here are four views of what I have now.

Next, I will finish the queue for the Covemont Cyclone. Then I will make some supports for the Intamin.

Arg, I've been trying to hack a rocket forever, and I can't get it. Your extremely lucky in my book. Looks awesome though.

^Well, it is the same basic process as making a hacked Deja Vu. If you can do that, then you can hack a rocket. If you need help, just send me an IM and I'll try to explain and walk you through it.

Well I made a lot of progress today. The Covemont Cyclone section is now complete AND I made all of the supports for the Intamin. It was my first experience with the new supports, so I'm sorry if they don't look good. The park is now open too.

Gah, these took forever.

If you want any close ups of anything, I will be happy to get them.

I also want to add that I am pretty sure that this should work on just regular RCT2 with no expansions.

Your building shapes are very nice, but the colors and object selections are pretty poor IMO. However, it still looks pretty good overall. One suggestion though, IMO you should get rid of the MCBR on the rocket, and cut out the Corks and replace them with airtime hills and a helixes/speedturns. Keep up the good work.

^I am going to try start incorperating more colors. About the rocket, I can't take out the MCBR because the train has to be going slow enough not to pull too many lats in the corkscrews. I can't take out the corks either because otherwise I would have to re-hack the ride.

Heck, I'll rehack it for you, it's just gonna bug the heck out of me that it's being trimmed that much, and the corkscrews just don't fit in with the rest of the ride. It's up to you though, I just personally don't like it.

Yea .. for some reason corks and Intamin don't blend well. And I hate RCT's method of block brake speeds. Just put the slight slant upwards to flat section of track to a chain section (so it'll function as a block brake, and then make normal brake speeds following it for a slight trim and realistic appearance.

Well actually, I didn't have to hack it to change it. I took out the MCBR and corkscrews. I think it looks much better. I also changed the colors of some buildings. It looks more natural and not so bright.

So much better, those corks looked like crap. Eman was right, it just is not pleasing to the eye. It looks good as of now. I would also change the colors like e-man also said. It looks really good so far. Keep it up.

Very nice change you made, I like the Intamin a lot now. Your color changes are definitely better, and I can't wait to see how progress continues on this park.

I just don't like hacked rides with B&M/intamin track, but I realize there's no other way to do a tophat/inverting rocket. I also don't like the attempt on making continuous big hills by making multiple straight segments, just looks sooo unrealistic to me. The ending of the rocket now looks nice though, even if the sequencing will be pretty poor (all inversions in the beginning). The colors, though still a wee bit colorful IMHO, are already much better. I love the woodie, BTW.

Here's a tip, use the 4 Tube invert and hack it together with a LIM track on the top hat. If you want a visual just ask me..
