That would be cool to see a 500 ft lift hill at a steep angle like Manta or Tatsu...That would just be so intimidating...maybe they will call it Intimidator 500!
Salvation has tons of airtime. And the part that we are all talking crazy, what is the name of this site? Anyhoo, 500ft tall flyer? Sign me up. Now, Tatsu is said to be the tallest, fastest etc., but it doesn't seem like it. I thought it was too short of a ride. At least one more inversion would have made it even better.
I was reffering to how most of the earlier GCI's don't have alot of air. The newer ones do like Terminator and Prowler. I'm just excited to hear about this new ride whatever it is but it's fun to speculate and do a little crazy talk too. Lol.
Edit: Seems that clue 4 is a picture of a diaper with no link...maybe because we will $hit ourselves?
Someone at NLE speculated that they'd build both a Star Flyer and a GCI together and with what Cedar Point has released so far, it doesn't seem so unreasonable. Kinzel specifically said the new project would target thrill seekers who followed the park's history, while lots of clues also point to the Star Flyer such as the trademark filing. Building two rides at a time is however, unusual at best.
^ Because they have Raptor which is much better than an SLC. La Ronde in Montreal is making the same mistake. They have a Batman clone and are installing an SLC which IMO is stupid.
Agreed. In all honesty, they need another Maverick. A no-gimmicks, hard-ass ride built for intensity. Nothing more, nothing less. Unfortunately, at this point, it looks a lot like that's not what they're actually getting. But, we'll just wait and see.
Yes, clearly, Cedar Point is seriously lacking in Intamin steel rides as everyone can notice. Mostly they lack varieties of any kind of steel coaster and seriously need to build more, especially giant, tall non-looping steel rides.
Ok, well I can understand wanting a B&M flyer but why the hell do people keep tossing the stupid idea of a height/speed record breaker here? Such a ride would only be a combination of the same rides that the park already has. They might as well build another TTD at that point.
It's prime time for some good GCI's and GG's to hit the park. The term "coaster capital" would have much more merit if the park actually had a collection of wooden coasters.
Well they have Millennium Force for high non looping, and they have Maverick for short but packs a punch. I think a woodie is around the corner... That or another waterslide.
