The talk about adding height/speed to the flyer is more just fun and experementing than it is actual speculation. Realistically the only type of coaster that could fit in a small area like that is maybe a GCI, a mega-lite or something like that.

A GCI would be the better choice, because the two woodies they do have there are crap.

^Mean Streak is crap and is not the good ride it once was. Blue Streak is decent but just outdated. A GCI would be the best choice IMO because they desperately need a new wooden coaster and they have just about every type of steel coaster you could think of with the exception of a floorless, flyer, and dive machine. But with a smaller plot of land like this, I still think a GCI would best fit. But with the clues being posted I still don't think we are gonna see a coaster.

Edit: Picture #5 has been posted...it is a picture of crayons. Not sure what to think of this.

^ Maybe the #64 in that crayon picture link means rider capacity.

Yes, clearly, Cedar Point is seriously lacking in Intamin steel rides as everyone can notice. Mostly they lack varieties of any kind of steel coaster and seriously need to build more, especially giant, tall non-looping steel rides.

My bad I wasn't clearer. I wasn't implying that they build another intamin steel ride, only a ride that is amazing, but nothing that is what many would call "gimmicky" (by this I'm mostly talking about the "ests" of the coaster world). Even a relatively nondescript GCI or GG would suit me fine. As much as I would love a 500 footer at cedar point, it's not what the park needs.

Intamin's the only one building 500ft rides though, and a 500ft ride probably wouldn't serve any benefit to the park nor any riders even if it actually has a layout. (And if it did, it would cost far too much money to build, surpassing MF in cost. With that money, Cedar Point could get two or three wooden coasters which would actually be better.)

^ That's probably it because it explains the windmill, but its also very very disappointing if that is the ride. Tooooooo much hype put into a ride that problem won't be that amazing.

Too much hype? Are you f*cking kidding me? Remember last year? THAT was too much hype. This hype is practically nonexistent compared to that, and imo, the ride will be better than Shoot the Rapids. I know I personally won't be too disappointed is that's all we get. A tad? Sure, but won't we all?

^ This whole clue bull sh*t is too much hype. I understand last year was worse, but still. Unless its going to be a ride that people will flood for years to come, then don't make us guess on what the hell it is. Just come out and say it.

I suppose you have a reasonable point. However, a little bit of hype isn't always necessarily a bad thing. I think this bit of speculation is a good thing.

Either way, we should all get our hopes up. Either we will all jump for joy, or we'll understand because it would be like last time.

By the way, is the new clue... Crayons? What does that mean?

Crack pot theory, but I'm on to something...... I think.

This is an example of the ride in question. Its at Coney Island, which had it devistating fire in what year? 1944. What year is the song from the link of the people walking on the beach? 1944. And Coney Island is on a beach. Which explains why people are walking on the beach for this specific clue.

Well that would explain the ride type and the name Stratosoar, but what about the crayons and the diaper?

Maybe the crayons are for color and the diaper is for empty promises...

The couple walking on the beach explains 2 riders per seat and the setting on a beach.

The diaper = you're gonna poop yourself cuz it's so tall.

I'd still prefer a GCI but I guess we will see tommorow.
