I would really like to know how to make a custom station. I just want a basic building with a ramp and supports. The station is 17 metres long but I don't know any of the other proportions that it should be. I also don't know which program would be the easiest to use to just do a quick station. I would normally use the default one but since it is about 30 feet from the ground at one point and 90 at another and track passes underneath, that won't work.

Im not completely done but it works [:D]...

U could also use Object creator... Use the grid in the program to help with the length

Definately the easiest is making one out of supports. You can try to use Object Creator, but Wings 3D is a much better program for free, albeit a bit more complex than the norm.

all you do is put catwalks from the autosupport generater on part of your track, and drag them away from the track. Its quite simple.
^the message is up there^

I have done the support stations. I took for ever to put them in line, but I find that the catwalk stations work so much better.

I tried a pure support station once, with no catwalks. I gave up after about 4 hours of tedious placing of nodes...
I did recently make one with catwalks, though, and it probably took about an hour or so, and imho, it looked fantastic. It's not really that difficult. You may or may not have to re-apply catwalks once or twice, depending on whether you have a plan for the station. Well, good luck!

Personally I don't like the look of the catwalk stations...
I prefer the support stations. It's hard work but it pays off since it looks a lot better.

^ Same here. after reading the above posts I tried using the catwalks and they only looked good on one side of the station. Catwalks are MUCH easier though and Ill probably end up using them on my next coaster

It's actually not that hard to make a station out of supports.

In the link below, the station took about a day.

No. Just the actual station/roof. It took quite a while off and on to finish the lines. Like 3 months. I also spent time supporting most of the ride and making 3ds.

Would you like me to make you a support station Vampire?

^ Thanks for offering but A7XandCoasters ended up making me the station a while back. I just found the thread now and am surprised it's still going. :P
