True Real, true. But the number of macs isnt going to increase unless they are treated as an equal. Many apps are made for PC's, so that is a reason why some wont buy macs. Until they are made for macs, I dont blame people for not buying macs.

Apple ships free development tools that are actually quite nice. You're welcome to write your own utilties. (IE: Do something constructive instead of whining and moaning.)

Dude, treated as an equal? Thats not for us to decide, its for the developers to decide.

Its not an equality issue, its an issue of this:

Theres probably at least 50 PC's to ever Mac, and thats my own guess.
If you made software, you would definatly spend all of your time making PC software. Why? You would actually make money. You put your money where the market is, not where it isnt.

You have to wait for when Macs are close in comparison to the number of PC's out there. You also will need the average mac user to graduate from mom and pop to a younger generation. Thats another factor, they arent quite there in terms of the age group either.

Actually, the Mac shareware market is larger than the PC shareware market...

"You were banned for creating multiple accounts."

... i told you in my pm that the only reason i created another account was because account number one was not working and that i wanted to know if you deleted it or banned me with that one. i also said that you can delete the non-working account or delete the new one if the old one was working. i hardly think that's any reason to ban me.. but back on subject:

awesome book!

In any case, a ban only prevents the user from logging in, not visiting the site in general, or even logging in...

How about this... Just create a new account and I won't ban it (Unless you give me reason to...)

I've just posted a MAJOR update. Content is complete through Chapter 3. I've also made a bunch of improvments to the layout. I'm now using a two-column layout, and I have added many features to make it better for computer viewing, such as bookmarks and hyperlinks. I've also redone practically all the screenshots so they look better.

@Tyler, cool, I will have to take a look at the updates.

@Coaster99 - I think the Construction Kit has a de-pumper, but I'm not sure how it works or how well it works. Real or someone else could probably answer that.

Always remember that when you put a track that can be called "crap" into a tool ... you get "buttery-smooth warped crap" back out. You have to give the program something to work with in the beginning ... just a tip from me.

Someone said about removing pumps? http://d1jlserver.dnsalias.net/CCDev2/p ... fm?fid=736

Just incase the CK doesn't do the job well. Oh yeah this isn't perfect either. You really have to zoom in and match it to the shape to get it to good use.

umm, I have stumped myself. Could someone explain to me how to make a curve going from level track that curves up in preperation for a hill and turns 40 degrees from the top view?

I keep trying, but it always comes out in an s type turn and levels off which is what I dont want.

poooo
