I'm working on a Vacoma Motorbike in a Mountain Dirt Bike environment. Lots of dirt hills and trees. I'm torn between glass smooth, or letting some of the transitions provide a minor bump - like a landing after a jump. Nothing too serious but smooth seems to be bland, its needs some of the bumpiness.

What do you think - smooth or some bumps along the way?

Here are some pics of the work in progress. Please note, the terrain work is not yet complete and there is still some track and support work to be done.

Little hills could do the job instead of 'bumps' They might also make the ride feel faster.

Nah, doesnt need bumpiness. Needs smooth but short and very quick transitions. Sorta like Magnums bunny hills but a shade smoother.

Oh God, nobody should EVER do anything like Magnum's bunny hops again!

despite its age, those hills produce some of the more intense airtime found anywhere. Its not sustained for very long but with trims off, holy hell its crazy. Those bunnies are example A of how a very short (or in this case, nonexistant) transition can amplify the feeling of airtime. It might only be -1 total but feels far more intense because of the quickness of the transition. If you love airtime, maggie is a fave.
