Name changed to protect identity :P

Dear Real,

I received your question from our Website and wanted to respond.

Currently, Top Thrill Dragster is down for an unforeseen mechanical problem. We are working very hard on the ride, and are hoping that it will be open soon. Please continue to check the Cedar Point Website for the status; as we will be sure to post it as soon as it is operating.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Monty Jasper
Vice-President of Maintenance & New Construction
Cedar Point

=================================

Hopefully this gets fixed in the next week or 2. They only have a few more weekends of opportunities. At least they get Mon-Thurs to work on it without any interferance.

Oh well.

Why are you trying to hide your name? i've seen it mentioned on the boards a couple of times, already.

I know what his name is, but since he doesn't want to share it, I won't. I respect your anonymity Real.

ummm, no, that would absolutely kill you. launching backwards, while your body is being thrusted foreward until it is detached from your waist. but, Millennium Force would be kewl backwards, that would be the time of my life!

Funny, when I went in late Augest they had them. I saw that on PointBuzz before I left and I wondered why they said that, cause they were there.

Its an inverted (though swinging) coaster that has part of the train backwards. Take a closer look, dont glance like you have a habit of doing :)

Well, all those rockets are really pretty finnicky. It's too bad TTD will be out though. [V]
