I know you can get a dual station when setting up a single coaster to have a double platform, but can it be done between two coasters without 3Ds? I'm trying to make a Batman and Robin-esque dueling launcher, but am having trouble with this and am not sure if it's possible. I guess if worse comes to worst I could make a double station and one coaster? They'd just have to be the same colors... but will that work with a shuttle layout?
Check out Skyarrow's Twisted Tyrants. I believe is what you're looking for, also if all you're worried about is colors you can simply go into the style settings and assign a new color.
Also the best way to findout if you can do something is to try it. your results will be much faster by experimenting rather than asking
If it is going to be the same coaster style, you don't need to use different coasters. look at Gwazi that is included in the park library. 2 separate tracks, 1 coaster style, double station. Under one coaster name. just start a new vertex to do the second track and go to town.
Never tried this but what if you copied the two tracks and then created a third coaster to work as a dummy for supports and stations? All you would have to do is import the tracks and make them invisible.
^I'm going to try this if I ever make a 2nd attempt at a dueling coaster.
CKidd thank you I will check that out. And duh, style settings/individual train color settings... probably could do it as one coaster if need be but meh. Also, I have been experimenting and can't figure it out beyond the single-coaster-double-station (which I'd prefer not to do), which is why I asked. I tried what I wanted a few different ways, it didn't work, and so I asked. Thanks for that tip though...
Tallon, doesn't Gwazi have two totally separate stations in-game though? Or are they side-by-side like a single-track-double-station would be? Just not on the PC side of my computer right now so can't check ATM.
