I believe the epicenter was around Mexi Cali. It was said to be a 5.9, so it would've been rolling earthquakes in LA/OC county. I didn't feel it though [dorkhat]

I think I'd take all those earthquakes over all these tornadoes we get.

Think of it this way, on the eastern side of the rockies people get warnings of tornadoes, hurricanes, etc., but in the west we have no warning of when the poop's about to go down.

There's a fault nearby here, it's just not as active. But earthquakes usually aren't as severe as hurricanes or tornadoes. So I guess that balances it out?

But when they arem they're insane. Just ask the people in Indonesia of the earthquake that hit on December 26, 2004. Because of the earkquake, over 250,000 died! So, whenever a tornado or hurrican can top that, earthquakes > all others.

Uh no. All I get is severe weather warnings (not even close to scary) and warnings about when the nearby nuclear power plant has malfunctioned. That requires evacuation.

Do you live in Illinois? If so, you have to fire the guy named Homer Simpson. [:D]

Where have you been? It's so funny to hear the prejudices about NJ because they are such lies it's not even funny (talk about contradicting myself). Of course, some southern NJ residence fit the stereotype but they are not the majority. Because New Joysey's awesome!

Oscar: Of course. And you have been here... how many times?
