man I'm glad they're openin back up the bridge that goes from El Toro to Medusa. I mean I've only been there once, but it was last year, and it was a bit crowded to have to walk all the way around.

I was just at SFGA today.

Kingda Ka was still closed but on my way to some other rides I ran across this sign:

Anyone thinking they want to open the ride in two weeks.[;)]

i love new roller coaster slogans
they're so pitiful

i want to slap the PR departments

it looks like a good ride, and hopefully it will be open soon, because during the summer i have to visit NJ for relatives, so i might as well do something fun seeing how Kingda Ka was closed when i went last year due to its mysterious malfunction for 2 months

*fingers crossed*

The twister section looks amazing. A lot of nice crossovers in there.

After looking at the video, all I can say is WOW! The speed looks awesome. With that really long train there should be some really good airtime in the backseat during the insanely steep first drop!

Woohoo, that looks awesome, and the back seat must be even better! I Can jsut picture the back getting yanked over the first drop...I need to convince my family to go there.

I didnt really see a good twister section at all, just 's' bending all the way through, helix, obt, breaks. Looks pretty drole if you ask me.
Looking at the length of the trains, and the speed of the car. Looks to me like its going to be a capacity monster. And how amazing does the back seat through the first drop look[:D]. That'll be some serious ejector im tellin ya[:P].

El Toro should be longer than that compaired to rolling thunder. Maybe I'm imagining things but it sure feels strange living so close to GA. I bet this will be one hell of a coaster to ride one.

Airtime.........anyone[:P].
Gotta be a back-seat coaster, those trains are so damn long.
Really going to be a capacity monster that thing.

Technically the pacing seems off for some reason, then again that might just be the length of the trains. The ride itself doesnt look 'so' special or unique in any way. Just looks like a bigger version of Colossus at Heide Park imo. Dont get me wrong it looks real fun to ride, but just doesnt have the edge if you get me.

I'm heading for the back as well! Anyway, I think that turnaround kills a lot of speed because it seems to crawl over the hill right after it and the one going into the crossovers.

After what has felt like an eternity of construction to many people, El Toro has finally opened to the public with rave reviews!

LMAO...theres 3 things I see in the reviews.

Airtime.
Fast.
Smooth.

Which one really doesnt matter? Yea, the smooth. Why does a ride have to be SMOOTH (quoted) to be world class? Same for speed. What is fast? Fast is a relative term. Being a CP native anything under 93mph is going to feel rather slow.

Airtime is the only thing that matters here. I have a feeling people are padding the reviews with the "Fast and SMOOOTH" to fill in the blank space left where the ride lacks.

For a ride though that only had 4-5 moments of great air with not a "whole" lot else going on, I can see how the only other things you could say are "fast and smooth". Just cracks me up. I can think of at least 4-5 coasters that the Enthusiast crowd hates because they are fast and smooth yet when you add a few hills, suddenly its Gods gift to the coaster world...lol.

Fanboys.

i really dont care that its a smooth woodie, its fast, airtime (although thats very nice when its done right)

i just like the overall experiance, but if you consider each thing on its own, fast is cool - more headchoppers with woodies, smooth - its going so fast, you dont want anything like Colossus or Psyclane (from sfmm), and airtime, well you know what that constitutes

Hmmm... I really want to ride it, along with Kingda Ka, and Medusa, but My Family can't afford to go to New Jersey, and I can't either, let a lone any where.

I wonder if any of them have ridden Voyage. I'd rather have twenty two moments of sudden flo/ejector airtime than five hard ejector moments.

Looks like a good ride for the park. I'll be at Holiday World though.

It's funny hearing them talk about the lift. "We must all love Intamin for their cable lift, because you move around that turn so damn quick it makes the drop's air just so sick..." They could have the same air with a slower lift.

Well... It does have that extra 'push' from the speed of the lift, like Millennium Force, how it speeds up as it gets to the top, it's really cool.

I like the sound the ride makes...

This does look a really great ride, with great airtime over the first few hills! But i, also, would prefer to be riding Voyage to this! Voyage just looks like the best woodie ever made in my opinion. [;D][:D]
