This is not a Mega-Lite. It's similar, but I am aiming for something closer to Goliath at Walibi; just smaller. I am officially to the point of throwing up over my Impulse's supports, so I just needed a get-away.

115 ft. drop / 80 degrees

I was in the mood to make a Dive Loop, but I also wanted a stengel, so it's kind of a Dive-Stengel fakeout.

Small hop transition with a bit of airtime.

Some grand ejector airtime.

Comments? I'd also like some testers. I should be able to finish this and UMC by the end of the week if I have the drive.

Are colors going to change? You never see Intamins with two color tracks.

It doesn't mean they wouldn't [:P]

But... not feeling the colours myself, grey rails are always good, but I'm not sure about the other colour. Might look different with the supports I though guess.

i think maybe leaving the whole track yellow and the supports that weird greyish blue color would be grand... just a tip. i'll test for you as well if you like.

Those are the colors I'm considering right now. I usually go through 2 or 3 different schemes during the building so it's not final.

Don't the parks choose the color of the track?

Hey Jake, just some friendly tips from things I noticed.

1. I know it's not a Mega-Lite, but the crest of your lift still looks a little too small.

2. The stengel thing...I know you probably want it to have air, but stengels dont IRL. It looks kinda funny how it is now. You could still have air, but maybe make the banking start sooner.

Bigger still?

And about the Stengel; really only the unbanked entrance has air. Once it banks there is no negative force. However, like I said it's not a conventional Stengel, so I didn't plan on matching it to the real things.

I don't think the first drop pullover has to be larger...look at Maverick vs. Piraten. I say it's designer's choice based on what characteristics they want and need in a given situation.

Also disagree that a Stengel dive should not have airtime...I say just make sure it's done realistically. I personally really like your shaping. I was going to do one like that myself, just never got around to it. I think it looks cool, and also looks like it's there for a reason other than making it different.

This really is looking very nice!
I love the ayout, and how it combines twists with straight air hills. Yes, the hills really do remain badass!
I also don't think the lift crest should be larger...

If you still need a tester, you know where to find me, right? lol

Dcs, also remember that Maverick is only 100 feet tall and has a 95 degree drop...compared to most hypers which have less steep drops. If he's going with something like Goliath at WWO, I would make the lift radius larger. I'm just picky though :P.

I understand you don't have airtime on the banking part of the stengel, I just though it looked funny having a normal air hill and then the banking later...making it look kind of flat on top. However I see what you are going for...and was just being picky again.

I think all that volunteered to test have received their PM. Don't waste my time [;)]

I'm a little over halfway done with the layout.

I think I'm good with testers, assuming one or two of them gives me something back.

Your avatar is driving me up the wall with laughter, btw.

Small update

Can't say I am fond of some of the element choice but that layout is REALLY good. Keep up the work yo.

I am content with a finale of bunny hops and a 270 degree helix.

You gotta love bunnies. Each pull around -1.2 gs.

Finished layout.

I plan on adding objects and more terrain editions.

The colors don't really work when I think Electropop. A black and neon combo would work better imo.
