A hybrid woodie that I had pretty much given up on, but my brother (Bronx249) urged me to complete, so I did. I've spent the last week and a half cleaning it up.. terraforming, environment, foliage, and working on some custom supportwork/bracing; and there is still some work to be done. I am willing to send this to anyone who would like to test but I am to a point now where it would be nearly impossible to go back and edit (track especially). The turns still lack lateral bracing but diagonal bracing is nearing completion.

I have to agree, that looks really neat.

Worked on lateral and diagonal supports today. How do they look?

The only ones so far I don't like. Is there anything that I can do to improve this? I feel like that since it's fairly forceful that high up it needs something.

Yes, the MCBR isn't completely straight. I kind of like it that way though. Is it very unrealistic?

Here's a POV. Sorry about the annoying watermark lol..

And I realize that there is a tree hit. It has since then been removed. :)

Interestingly I liked all of the little pumpy bits. They added some character and I think they were, in general, pulled off decently well!

It's why I generally much prefer wooden coasters to be hand built. By nature wooden coasters aren't perfect and I don't think you can reflect that easily in Newton.

I agree. I've never really liked Newton'ed woodies. They don't feel as authentic in my opinion as a hand built. And thanks AJ lol, even though I'm trying to keep them to a minimum.

Here are the 90 degree bracing structures that I worked on yesterday..

Compare with these:

There's not much more that needs to be done.. tomorrow is a possibility for an upload!

Looking awesome.

And yeah, I agree, using Newton for woodies isn't really the best idea, unless you're building an Intamin Woodie, of if you're really experienced with it.
