Thanx, Biggs, for complaining about a rate on my ride.
Well, I myself couldn't care less about those low rates. I understand that some people think that woodies need to be rough, just because mor real woodies are old and badly engineered (BTW: Switching on shocks in the SIm should make up for that). Some people also think that a woodie using a CCI-car needs to look and feel like a CCI-ride (though they didn't build that many)-probably the same that would dock points if you put inversions on an Intamin Hyper. Colossus or Balder (modern woodies) use allmost the same cars and are built like steelies with low lats and high banks. Of course I couldn't bank it as much as I wanted too, so it still has higher lats than I wanted, but the cars themselves don't allow for fast transitions unfortunatly.
Anyway, I guess everyone has his own opinion and is entitled to rate accordingly. So, no big problem here. I would only be surprised if the same people would rate similar coasters much higher...
I know how hard it was to cram this -kinda- Twister Layout into the given space and how hard it was to let all four track run side by side dispite the fact that the walkways change size in banked curves. I know how much energy and work I had to put into this; well... and to me that is all that counts. I'm proud of my work. I myself wouldn't give this ride all high marks, maybe around an 8-8.3 overall, but who cares what I think anyway?
Thanx for rating.
Buster.
