I haven't been in the No Limits designing community for much time now, having only completed one track since purchasing the simulator several years ago. I never could get the hang of hand building so a few months back I began experimenting with FVD and eventually got around to completing my first track (which never got uploaded because I never could get my 3DS to work from Google Sketchup; if anyone could run my 3DS through 3DS Max or a similar program, I would definitely upload it for everyone to ride). However, with school and everything I never got a chance to make any more tracks with FVD and eventually forgot how to use the formulas all together. When I learned about the Newton program, I instantly became interested in wanted to design more coasters in No Limits and figured I'd give the program a shot and try experimenting with it as well. Initially, I didn't understand the program completely but with some tinkering I eventually got the idea down and finished my first track. At first this coaster was supposed to be a Premier launcher, but with the size of the coaster I decided to change it to a Maurer Sohne X-Car. I'd have to say this coaster is nowhere near being perfect and was simply an experimental coaster for using the Newton program, however I feel it turned out pretty good.
As of right now the track work is complete and I'm about 1/3 the way through supporting the coaster. I'm also thinking about making a station with Sketchup so I'd say there's a good bit of work still to be done, but it's getting there.
