What features would you like to see added to the track exchange?
Thanks,
Oscar

Being able to rate rates, maybe. Like, you could give a rate a "+" or a "-", but maybe not allow that feature to the person who posted the ride.

A section just for Jet coasters. Like Zacopane, Train coaster, Blackhole Scramble, Torokko Coaster etc, since they are so different from the rest of the usual "American" coasters.

cool5, why shouldn't those kind of coasters be posted in the exchange? Just because they are different?

And score averages to go along with what Austin said? That's an easy way for people to get an idea of how they're improving.

Some sort of tag function would definatly improve searches for certain type of coasters.

Also perhaps a link that goes directly to the uploaders other tracks, instead of having to click their profile link and then on the tracks link.

-No point in medal count when that doesn't happen anymore.
-A designer's favorites page. Not only for the designer to show which rides they like a lot but it also acts as a recommendation tool for members who wanna find some fresh new rides. That's something I find useful on CSims.

An average rate display (showing what the average score the designer gives to other tracks). Could be entertaining.

Ability to search uploaded coasters based on type [Wooden, Intamin(or 2-seat hyper), Floorless, Eurofighter, etc.] That would be an easier way to search for uploaded designs.

They still happen. The topics haven't been created but the medals should still be updating.

For some reason, I thought you guys would have tons of ideas. Oh well, easier and cheaper for us. Later on, don't say I didn't ask... [lol]

Maybe a rate delete option... it's sort of an odd, and possibly bad idea, but we can eliminate all of the noob comments that come up on coasters saying that it's the best coaster they have ever seen and that it deserves a 10, 10, and a 10. If we can delete those rates from the coasters, we can more accurately rate coasters without the rides being completely overrated by noobilee noobs.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Isn't that the moderators job? If everyone just keeps on deleting rates, then it's going to be a mess. Everyone has a different opinion about a "noob" rating. I know, a "WOW SOOO COOLz000RR COASTERSSZZ 10/10/10" rate isn't good, but where do you cross the line?

Ontopic:

As mentioned before, upgrade the search engine. Make it possible to search for high scored tracks and such.

delete rateswont be added for obvious reasons [:)] Maybe a report rate button can be added so staff could take a look at them and decide.

Search engine shall be improved.

I think, adding to someone else's idea, there should be ride categories that go past those in NL. Instead of 2 bench wooden, there should be sub-categories for CCI, GG, GCI, RCCA, etc., for example. Make sure to have categories for those who don't follow the style of a real designer too...something like "Hyper 2 Seat, original style" might work.

I was going to say that. It would really help out, because a lot of times people don't want to go through the process of creating a new topic. And some don't even know to do that.
