First Ride

How old where you when you rode your first roller coaster, what coaster, and where.

My answer:
It was my fifth birthday that I went to Kenobles in Pennsylvania and rode Phoenix in the front row. It's a wooden coaster.

Uhhh, Thunder Mountain at disneyland when I was like... 10? Then no coasters untill I went to Six Flags and BTR was my first inverting coaster. When I was 13

My first kiddie coaster must have been when I was 3 or 4, but my first real one was Corkscrew at Valleyfair when I was 7.

I rode Rebel Yell and Scooby Doo at PKD when I was 3.

Umm i think the orignal twister at elitch when i was about 6.

The first that i remember was 'roller coaster' at great yarmouth pleasure beach, just because i felt cool 'cos my older brother was too scared to go on it. My first inverted coaster was the 'thunder looper' at alton towers when i was about 13ish. never looked back since.

my first rc was when i was 6 and i rode sooperdooperlooper it was my first looping roller coaster

A lot of similarities there with my experience. I went on Thunder Mountain at 3 or 4 I think and then BTR at 13. Some other coasters in between that though.

Laser, Dorney Park, front seat. 8 years old. Ever since then I have been hooked.

The first coaster I rode was Montezooma's Revenge in the front row at Knott's Berry Farm In California when I was 6. I love roller coasters.

1979 ( was 7) .... Cyclone at Astroland.

I was 4 or 5 when I rode Ghoster Coaster at CW, and then Dragon Fire when I was 6 or 7...I don't really remember exactly how old I was for either though.

Best first ride for a little kid, Soap Box Derby racers at Knotts. That ride was the best. Too bad it was replaced by a terrible ride... stupid Windjammers.

I was about 12 when I rode my first roller coaster. It was the Great Bear at Hersheypark in Hershey, PA. and my parents forced me on it [:p]

Cool that you mentioned that, I'm going to dorney tommorow.

The now defunct Hercules at Dorney Park was my first ride. I was about... 8ish?
