This rumour has been in back for a long time, but it seems like this is becoming more of likely by the day. So basically, the rumour is that Flamingo Land will be receiving a 10 looping coaster from Intamin. It is believed that this is the same coaster that was suppose to go to Hopi Hari, but was never installed and was then sent to a park in Malaysia, but was again, never installed and has now been reportedly sold to Flamingo Land on the cheap. Like i said, this rumour is becoming more likely by the day, especially since the park have just filed for a permit to install the coaster at the park (Notice how the stats match that of the more modern 10 looping coasters from Intamin):

Also, the park have been doing ground for where the coaster will go. Which is alongside Velocity, where the Corkscrew used to be located:

This is certainly a project to look out for going forward.

Ok, Thorpe park. Anyway, I know it's the old model, but still, it's so similar haha. I guess it's like California having two SRII's. Although the UK is smaller.... I looked it up, and 4.5 hours drive is probably far enough that most people won't ride both.

Very happy to see this happening. I've really wanted to try the updated model of the 10 looper and now it'll be easier than ever.

It's a shame this is only happening because of Hopi Hari's troubles, but the general public of northern UK won't care about that!

Massive for Flamingo land, this.

Seeing as they picked it up ridiculously dirt cheap, thanks to the demise of Hopi Hari and the proceeding saga, I thought they might have at least repainted it. But I guess if it doesn't need it, why would they.

Be interesting to see what it looks like when it's all up, because the track has seen a lot of weathering already, with the time it's been sat in outside storage.

I feel like the supports are too bright but that's just my opinion. Maybe it just looks so bright because of the cloudy weather

If you look closely at the bottom of this image, the park has started to repaint the track from red to grey:

Why would they do that? The red and yellow is a nice combination?
Also, it makes no sense on building a coaster and painting it when it's fully constructed. Seems more difficult then painting it before assembly?

According to the planning application, the ride will have silver track with black supports, although there are some sections painted gold at the moment as seen in the video.
