ok, i've been doing a lot of schoolwork recently and haven't really had time to design, but it's half term, i finished all my homework and now... IM BACK! i've started designing this here coaster called flash, but i'm not sure what type it should be.

is this too long to be an x-car? 1408.82m

AHG doesn't improve the smoothness eh, it only puts the heartline on the right place, if you put a bumpy track into AHG the bumps will only be magnified..

Maybe you can make it an Intamin mega looper?

okay, i've been doing little more work, firstly, i have thought of perhaps a track colour+ car colour (it will have a texture if i can find a template)

^what do you think?

also i have mostly de-bumped/pumped the track and i feel it is relatively smooth so far

i am looking for testers and a cartexture template and NO there is not a template on http://www.digital-experiment.de/index.htm although they do have a good many, check 'em out!

if any one would like to be a tester pm me, there's 300 slappin points(i don't have many) in it for the first four to pm and test[;)]

edit: and if i do not get four testers the 1200 points will be divided between you, or if only one person tests they get the 1200 points

Just look at other rides that have pretty high ratings, look at the style of supports and do your best to copy them. That's how most people start, and then you jsut practice and eventually get good at them.

^ No. If you're going to stick to a B&M then search for the correct B&M style on www.rcdb.com for as close a match as you can. Certainly don't use prefabs, and there are high-rated rides out there with terrible supports.

To remove the pump in the first bend, think about 'control points', bassically when the ride starts free-rolling (comes off lift), you'll need a control point to flatten out, then one to start banking (usually use 10'). Plus another to finish the bend and start the actual drop (plus one in the middle to give curvature). Try and keep the shape to a circle, in your top down angle most of your bends look like they go to a point. Your bend should only turn into a spiral if height difference is brought into it.

I can test if you like, lowlifekind@live.com

Best way to get your turns circular is to make a .3ds that is a giant circle, you can get really perfect turns the if you have the heartline follow the ends of the circle.
