[NL2] Flyer (Updated 4-18-14)

Here is a B&M Flyer I have been working on while the site was down.









The last picture is still a work in progress. Never thought simple rolls like on Sky Scrapper would be so difficult to do in FVD.

The track is nice and twisty. There appears to be good spread between elements so you aren't just in a mad rush through inversions. That's good! I'd like to see this with support and some terrain editing. I'm sure that will improve it even further. Keep up the good work!

Video worked for me now. Looks good, make sure you don't kill anyone with G's (I don't think you're close to that).

I seriously need a POV giving an excellent view of spinning! This is not just a combination of Fly-To-Lie / Lie-To-Fly parts! Hoping to ride on!

Maybe when I get up to the 540 supported I'll throw a quick pov of it. It's pretty wild.

I have decided to name it simply flyer for lack of imagination on my part. Would like to possibly add custom station and walkways, but not sure my limited 3d skills will be up to the task for this. Also got the track work done. Here are some quick shots of the finished track.

A month later and I'm finally getting around to supporting this.




Hopefully it won't take me another month to finish supporting this. Still trying to decide if I'm going to attempt to make a custom station, or just use the built in one. Did try to make a 3D walkway under the transport sections, but that didn't turn out so well.

Your lift will look better if the supports are somewhat evenly spaced. Not all lifts do that, but it'll help it look more realistic.

More supports are up, plus a color change. Comments are welcomed.

This turn around is viewed from where a pathway will be.






Made a preview video that I promised a while back as well.

Everything is looking quite good.
The only thing I would take a look at is the part circled in red.
That seems to need a bit of smoothing.

Yes I'd add an extra support where TTD03 circled the track. The track needs extra "help" there because of the twisting motion.
