Well, everytime that I went to Six Flags over Georgia, Free Fall has been closed. We thought that it was just mechanical problems but we didnt know. I went to a overnight thing with some friends and they wanted to ride it, they asked if it was going to open and the guy said never again, he said that they were going to be building something new for 2005, so does anyone know if its true. I know that they might be gettting rid of Deja Vu but I dont know about Free Fall.

yeah, well I hope it stays, it was one of the first THRILL RIDES that I went on. It was my favorite drop ride before Acrophobia was built.

It seems like every year after Acrophobia has been built I heard this rumor. I really don't think that Freefall will be taken down, it takes up little space, its fun, and it operates really fast, so why would there be a reason, for SFOG to take it down? Yes, Acrophobia is a freefall, or even closer to a deathfall for me, LOL, but when it comes to the people who can't take a drop on Acrophobia, or just aren't tall enough, They can go ride freefall, even then freefall packs a gut crunch too!

One word. Maintenance. Freefall rides are quite costly to run, and with another freefall type ride at the same park Freefall is just an unneccessary expense. Therefore, it is very likely that in the near future Freefall would be removed to save money without greatly detracting from the parks appeal.

Deja Vu is very costly is maintenance, Six Flags got relly stupid for installing all of them and then finding out they didn't work, I think Deja Vu needs to be scrapped if anything!

I just got the scope from a staff member of SFOG that just went to the park today, and Freefall is still going to be running, and I won't give tooo much away but get ready to get wet in 2005, and once the park opens you will see some construction, for the 2006............. I don't want to give anymore away you just have to wait and see!

NOOO!!!! I love freefall sooo much!!! me and my friend rode that ride like 30 times in a row on season pass day this year!!! I'm SOO sad now!!! They better not take it down!!!!!!! (That's the ride that made me take away my fear of acrophobia the ride, not the phobia). I wish they would take down Deja Vu instead.
