Anyone willing to do a somewhat extensive 3ds job, preferably someone who uses OC as I have a lot of usable but half done 3ds currently. This is for a fully custom supported GCI ride I've been working on for a little over two years. It takes up about a quarter of the editor with terrain that has about a 30-35' terrain difference.

The ride itself is nearly done but due to the way its set up it needs a park setting in it's immediate surroundings, and I just don't have the skill/motivation to do it. Part of this is I don't know any simple way to make fencing on hills, which the ride needs in quite a few places. It is very close to being fully supported however I keep thinking about the 3d job it needs and it's putting me off. Anyway if you're skilled with 3ds and have some free time/are willing to do it get in contact with me.

Thanks...

-Freddie

If you wanna buy me a decent 3D's software package, I'll do it. None of that free crap rolling round on the net like the Object Creator or that Sketchup thing, whatever it's called.

Something liiiiike.... erm..... Let's just say, buy me Autodesk 3ds Max ( http://www.cadline.co.uk/Content/Produc ... 4wodskbE3Q ) and I'll do it for you fo'sho!

Anything less than that, and no, no I will not. [lol]

So it's getting there....slowly. As I said I know how to do this stuff, just not very efficiently.

Still looking for a good single pine beam texture for the rafters, haven't come across anything usable yet. Supports on it are nearly done, I'm just finishing up a few more details. Probably about a weeks worth of work. Not sure how quickly I can go through the 3ds, though.

I still need some help, albeit for something much simpler. For those of you who aren't creatively challenged like my self....I need a name. I'd like something not too over the top and fitting of a small park ride, but still clever (like Shivering Timbers). I've had a couple good suggestions but I'd like to see what you can come up with.

Thanks...

^ From you I'd expect Twisty Wood a Go-Go.

How about Rottweiler?

Thanks but no thanks...

I appreciate the suggestions but I'm really just looking for something simple, catchy, and a bit playful/tongue in cheek (I think Shivering Timbers is a perfect example of that).

Rottweiler is too aggressive I think, Tyranid doesn't fit the ride at all imo, and cool5......yeah.

cool5, no offense but I've put over 2 years of work into this ride. Could you keep it serious or just not post?

I don't like Avast much....and hasn't it been already used? It also requires theming that I really didn't want to do.....I wanted to keep it pretty generic. And as for Hotdog...I don't think particularly highly of my rides but I'd like to think that the over two years of work that's gone into it is at least better than a lunch meat for a name. I was actually thinking of Maddog which was the original name of Kentucky Rumbler but I really don't think it fits the profile or pace of the ride.

You could try using a location in the name, "kentucky ____" "tennesee ____" etc.

Savage, Timber Tornado, Uproar, Howl, Aftershock, Magnitude,.. Idk. If you want something with a location and a verb, here are a few I just randomly came up with: Michigan Moonsault, Sacramento Screamer, Florida Flyer, Missouri Mayhem, that's all I got.

I like Uproar...I may give that some thought. I was also thinking of Twisted Timbers (another potential Rumbler name), but I was thinking that might be a bit too "safe". Not really a fan of location related names however.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Edit: Blah, forgot Jakizle used Uproar. Can't do that then.
