Have any of y'all heard of this program? I found it some time ago and just got the hang of it. It's a really fun program and quite easy to use once you get it. I have a few... interesting.. songs I have made I'd like to share for you all. I only have the demo version, so it's limited in what I can do, but it still has some pretty powerful capabilities.

My first song I really liked. Called Passion. http://www.zshare.net/audio/passion-mp3.html

I didn't like my other song... [:D]

The second song I was actually happy with. Called Launch.

And the site containing downloads, info, and fun stuff like that.

I've used it a couple times. I could tell that you could do more with it than just little beats like I was doing, but I don't really feel the need to use it nor do I feel that I could actually do anything with it unless I were to read the manual (which God knows I'll never take the time to do).

My friend had FL awhile ago, but he wasn't very good at it. What you've got sounds pretty cool, but a little repetitive, probably 'cause its a demo, a little limited. Thanks for sharing this though, I've been working on recording a song over the last few days but needed drums, I'll try this out, maybe share it here when I'm done.

Yea, they're repetitive. lol
The main reason I even looked into this is for creating my own backing tracks. I don't have a drummer, but this is a great substitute.

Yeh, thats what I'm about to do with it, when if finishes downloading. It's not too complicated is it? My friend has Reason which I've used for doing drums in the past, but he's in Germany right now so I havn't been able to use it for the last 4 months or so.

its a nice program but i still prefur e-jay, its easy to use and its very easy to rip songs for the lyrics making remixs easy. ill put some of mine on the net soon and i might even use some on my coaster videos.

Then again Fruity Loops is a very good programme, i use Acid Pro 3 sometimes, which is also very good.

When i opened the topic i though you was reffering to that nasty american breakfast cereal[:)]. I tried on holiday, damn they was disgusting[:P].

I used it looking for a good drum backing program, but didnt like it. I used Acoustica Beatcraft instead...hmm that sounded like something out of a commerical

I had frooty loops for at least couple of years and I just love what it can do as opposed to having drum machines. I just upgraded to FLstudio6 and the audio quality is better than before. There is so much you can do with it I'm even working on songs. I have couple of keyboard synths also[:D]

Cool, that wasn't that hard, and the "real" drumkits actually sounded pretty good, at least for being free. Here's the song if anyone wants to check it out. The recording's not great, but it's just a mic'd amp in my very unsoundproof room.[8D]

Nice song guitarplayer. The distorted guitar sounds a bit too harsh for my taste, but sounds pretty damn good man. As soon as I get decent recording stuff, I'll create a backing track for a song I've been working on and get my bassist's ass over here to play. Thanks for sharin' man.

i checked out fruity loops once.... not too hard to use, but since i vave a decent arsenal of analog synths, ancient drum machines, half a dozen guitars and a digi rig running protools, i didn't fid it that useful. however i did see it as a niiiice tool for learning how to use a sequencer, much like acid and reason are for learning about analog synthesis. also it does a really good job of emulating things i'll probabaly never have the opportunity to own like roland's tr 808 and tb 303, both of which are far beyond my spending range and climbing in price. i do however have a roland tr 77, one of their first products, which is basicaly a preset 808 that i plan to mod eventually to have controll over all the sounds...
fruity loops is pretty cool, i wouldn't "phhhssst" it , but once you get a hold of a good vintage synth , or even a good virtual analog synth, and a good recording program that supports midi fruity loops will start looking like nothing more than a reall coool toy.

Well, haven't seen anything in here for a while. lol
Last night I had my girlfriend over to watch fireworks and other fun "stuff". Ahem.
After she left I had a sudden inspiration to write a goofy song. I took one of her favorite phrases, "some sex," and made it into a funny little techno-ish song. She loved it.

Warning: Explicit Lyrics. If you don't like the F-word, don't listen.

I think today only fruity loops version 6 in pc laptops could very well make drum machines obsolete although laptops may not be cheap to buy and buying MIDI extras for them. But again certain new drum machines are real good to have and the best choice to make if one would rather not buy an expensive laptop pc like I did.
