Welcome to my construction thread! Here I will be posting my good and crappy rides for all of you to critique. I will also be using this thread for updates on my projects in NL2.

Currently working on Vanguard, a second gen B&M Invert. The ride will be a terra-coaster when I am finished with it.

Make sure the G's don't murder everyone on the turn after the loop. The squiggly helix thing after the second vertical loop looks great.

Looks extremely compact, compared to other massive B&M Inverts including Banshee. Can be an intense track! :)

I am really into compact rides, now that I think about it. There is something about the track looping around itself that I just love.

This trackwork looks so painful and reminds me is a Chinese knockoff coaster.

The bottom transition out of the mid brake looks very weird and painful.

that's due to the shape of the track itself (the rails are lower than the spine, causing that little dip from this angle), if you look at his previous picture of that transition, you will notice it's rather fluid and smooth, it simply flattens out a bit during the roll transition.

No, it was rather rough, with lateral G's spiking up into the +3.5 through + 4 range...

Here is the fixed one:

 Sigh.... (Sorry for so many posts in a row) Why do I sometimes get an error message saying, "Invalid File Format"? I can't even open the park file now.

At least I still have El Dorado, an Intamin Blitz Coaster.

Glad you ironed out the 3+ lateral G's you had going on there lol. If it makes you feel better the latest Windows 10 update keeps bricking my graphics card drivers.

El Dorado is now and Intamin Mega-Lite. I have done some supporting and have found an environment that suits the feel I am going for.

I also finished the layout:

Yay Megalite! Whohoo... until you ride out that Stengel Dive. After that, the ride gets crazy! Not Megalite anymore but I rather call this credit "Mega Hevy (Heavy)"!

Looks like a really solid ride - if perhaps a smidgen long. The sequence of elements right in the center of the screen (just before you go over the water) look a little mis-shaped - any chance of a few shots around that area? The low right hand turn before the straight airtime hills look the most concerning.

Yeah the transition on the right hand side of the first picture looks a little forced (like RCT style) given teh track immediately before it. The transition out looks good though.

Just realized I had this thread from a long time ago.

Coming back from a VERY long break from NoLimits 2, I figured I would go ahead and finish up El Dorado. However, after seeing a coaster on NLE already called "ElDorado," I decided to change the theming a bit and now I have Ursa: An Intamin Blitz. (This is the same ride I have been working on in the "What are you currently doing in NL2 thread". However, I didn't want to clutter up the single thread with Ursa, so I have moved it here.

Inspired by Millennium Force. It may not be pretty, but it works.

What is going on with those supports lol. Are you dodging and obstacle on the ground?

Beefy support structure - if you're not dodging obstacle defintiely create one - I like the supportwork haha

Yeah my brake run and storage section is right below the over bank so I had to get creative. - I still have a bit more work to do on it but it should turn out well.

Made the supports gray and added these cool rocks made by Fluxtrance to the tunnels, symbolizing a "bear cave."
screenshot-2016-05-09-14-15-33.png

What do you guys think? Should the supports be gray, orange, or purple?

EDIT: Sorry I forgot to add that the trains now have a custom logo.

Trying to teach myself how to 3D model. Does anyone know why the glass/translucent textures in SketchUp come out opaque in NoLimits?
