The winning bidder of Villain and Double Loop works for a Celeveland based scrap company. May these coasters RIP...

However, the winning bidder of Big Dipper and RWB said the coasters will be rebuilt, but not as operating coasters. Still much better then scrap...

I can't believe no park would buy Villain...the steel structure should make it pretty easy to move and the price was soooo low.

Sad.

Good! I wouldn't pay $5 for villain, unless I can sell it for scrap.

I rode Villain in 2000 and thought it was an outstanding coaster (then). I haven't ridden it since, but the fact that it was so good then indicates that with some retracking, it could be fabulous once again. It could have been moved. What a shame.

Indeed, with such a low price, just patch it up a little and throw it in some small park, too bad.

Those prices are actually pretty cheap comparing it against the initial build cost. It's almost silly to see even a scrap metal company destroying it. There's still profitable potential for those rides if you ask me.

Scrap steel is going for like 12c per pound right now. Villain and Double loop are going to be far more profitable that way than they would have been to any park.

Yea. Youd need to put some PTCs on Villain too IMO. I hated those G Trains. Smooth or not just the plastic seats are enough to evoke pain.

what can I get for 20$? :D
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Wow those seem cheap. Like enough to put on any large lot of an upper class home, lol. That'd be kinda cool to have big dipper sitting outside your window or something.

Also, it wasn't that bad of a park. I went there back when it was SFWOA. I'm glad Dominator got moved to KI.
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage

I didn't think the seats were as much of a problem as the lapbars... the air on that last double up kinda hurt where you don't want it to hurt lol.

Really enjoyed Villain though, too bad they're killing it. Don't care too much though as I'd likely never ride it again...oh well.

"However, the winning bidder of Big Dipper and RWB said the coasters will be rebuilt, but not as operating coasters"

What does it mean when they say rebuild, but not as operating coasters?
