This video had me creasing with laughter at times. I'm sure i've seen exerpts from it before, probably on here actually, but still i thought I'd post it!

I am almost certain that you'd get some fairly similar answers to this in whatever country these questions were asked, just probably not quite to the same magnitude of blissfully unaware idiocy! People do really believe everything they're told huh?

That reminds me. Make sure you vote in November, Matt. That way you can stop your constant bitching because YOUR vote will have made the difference, unless you leave a hanging chad and if so I will personally kill you. Geesh, go to school and finish your degree. Focus on that task bud and quit with the attacks on the POTUS.

He is done, let it be. Geesh ..... [V]

Though we are not the only stupid country, we're the only country free enough to allow the stupidity of the public such as these people to vote.

These people aren't as stupid as they seem (Regarding some of the questions at least). If a person with a video camera was asking you basic trivia questions, you may be inclined to give bogus answers to increase your chances of being on TV.

wow, we americans are so, SOOOOOOOOOOO dumb. I knew most of the answers to those questions, and it made me feel smarter than the average american, but that still makes me very dumb...
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I don't think ignorance is the same as being dumb. I feel that most Americans are just simply unaware, if you know what I mean. Dumb would be if you were taught these things and took note of them, or took the time to find them out and then subsequently forgot them or simply didn't take the information in. I figure that the people in this particular clip just don't take any notice of the world around them, these kinds of people exist outside of America too, it's just that im my personal opinion, American culture lends itself to producing this kind of ignorance. But I wouldn't actually call it being dumb.

Apart from the triangle guy, that was dumb.

Speaking of ignorance, you know Bush lost the popular vote in 2000, right? He only won by about 2.5% of the popular in 2004...Image
