Good documents on safety in amusement industry?

I have to write a 10+ page research paper in my writing class, and I thought I'd write on something I'm knowledgeable about. Safety of amusement rides in my eyes is always skewed so terribly by the general public and the media. Nobody ever knows what they're talking about and the media never has their facts straight.
