I saw Maverick valley back in early June when i was working there, one morning we were testing and it just rolled back in the horseshoe roll. It was a cold morning, maybe that helped.
Cold grease, loose trucks (because the steel has retraced in the cold) and loose fittings that cause higher vibrations combined with a light empty train = valley.
Yeah I'm curious too, how'd you recover the Maverick?
Be sure you're not looking in a mirror before you start pointing fingers.
The did kind of a "pull through" to get it over the second roll it LITERALLY took hours. Then once it got the brakes, we just reset it and launched the train.
