The popular chain of water parks, Hawaiian Falls, has announced a brand new park to be built and opened in 2014 in Pflugerville, Texas. The development will spread over 25 acres, and contain both a water and adventure park, a first for the company. Coming in at a cost of $21.5 million to build, the new park is expected to draw as many as 300,000 visitors in its first season and be the largest park to date in the chain.

The water park slides and attractions will cover more than 10 acres, the adventure park an additional five, with parking and room for expansion taking up the leftover space.

In this image that was shared here, we can get a look at the layout of the new Hawaiian Falls Pflugerville. The adventure park is tied in closely to the water park, complete with tall zip lines passing directly over the water rides. The rest of the adventure courses are clustered on the left of the park above, with the water rides on the right.

The water park itself looks to contain a full mix of attractions when it opens. There's plenty of the elements you would expect to find, such as a large wave pool, racing slides, a water play structure, and adventure river. Additionally there are many other amenities and attractions tucked into the layout as well.

Personally I think the addition of the adventure course directly into the water park is going to be a great success. What family won't want to check out the zip lines once they see riders passing over them as they lounge by the wave pool? I sure would.
