Hello, and questions!

Hello all!

I bought Nolimits 1 a while ago, but recently I've been playing with it again. I'm considering moving to nolimits 2, but I'm wondering whether my coasters are any good.

Here's my questions:

1. Where should I post a Nolimits 1.8 coaster, minus a download?
2. What's with all the different coaster exchange sites, and their rivalries?
3. What are points?

Note that I may have accidentally stolen the ground texture from someone. I've downloaded a lot of tracks, and could easily have mixed up their assets.

Hello! Welcome to the site

1. Hard Hat Area of the forum whilst you're designing it, then the track advertising and exchange once it's finished
2. Different sites appeal to different people as each site has a different feel to it. Coastercrazy benefits from having a good focus on real life rollercoasters and news aside from simulations and games too. This is my preferred site for various reasons but I don't see other sites as rivals, a lot just don't appeal to me and therefore I pay very little attention to them.
3. Points are accumulated a vareity of ways - from logging in every day to posting on the forums to posting tracks on the exchange and rating other peoples tracks. Technically they're used to download more tracks although this should never be a problem for the average lurker. They can also be used to be merch, but we don't have a lot available at the moment.

We do still have a couple of active NL1.8 users but you'll probably find recent uploads dominated by NL2! I look forward to seeing what you design

Hi!!! Looks like mkingy has you sorted out As for my opinion on #2, I like the mix of both real life coasters and theme parks and the virtualization experience you get with No Limits Coaster. Most other sites are primarily one or the other and I think here we strike a good balance of the two.
