Make sure it is properly banked.

Make sure the train isn't going through the turn at too high of a speed. If it goes through the turn too fast, no matter how much you smooth it, or bank the turn, the high red g's will always be there.

So how fast is the train going when it hits the turn? And what is the radius or diameter of the turn?

well basically if the train is travelling at a high speed and is going into a curve, then there are a few possibilities on how to fix it:

-are there red vertical gs?
then make the radius or diameter or whatever of the turn larger
-are there red lateral gs?
then increase the degree of the banking. if the issue continues than the radius of the turn may have to enlarged

Hope this somewhat helps. It all really comes down to common sense and practice.
