i am creating my first hypercoster and could any help me on how to create a straight line on an angle to the grid on the editor so it is nice smooth without being wavy..........if that makes sense

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but have you tried the Straighten tool (default "i" key)? All you gotta do is click on the track segment (not the vertices) and hit "i" and voila. Of course, then you have to be careful where you place the vertices to get the track angled exactly where you want it. If I'm misunderstanding, then ignore me [;)].

Well I was kind of at the understanding that befo was thinking, maybe you need to clarify yourself a little bit more to get the best help. I may be a genius but a mindreader I am not (albeit a lost genius) [:D] j/p w/ ya [:D]

I think he means putting straight elements (like hills) at say 45-degrees to the editor grid and still managing keep it straight.

If that's the case, try making one long segment for your element at the angle you want, select it and use the 'i' straighten tool. Select the segment again and click 'split up', then (making sure the snap is on, and set to a good value) select the new vertex and move it up to the right height. Voila', instant airtime hill (using an airtime hill for an example, lol).

I hope that's what you need, and that it makes sense. :p
