Come on people, what are we saying here, its a ride where you queue for 6 hours, getting bored, to ride for 15 seconds. I mean, it goes to 120 mph, big woo. Having a father that tends to drvie fast, we would usually be driving about 120-130mph on the motorway anyway, Its nothing special. Something strange doesn't suddenly happen to your body that makes it a good ride. Fair enough, maybe it would be half decent if the thing actually did anything. All you do is go up and then down ":O OMG stop everything, I must ride it, i can get to go up and down, OOOOOOOO!" [lol], Its a pile of big red donkey penis. It would be good if after the top hat, it did a snake dive or even just a loop, anything, but noooooooo, just some cruddy brakes. *sigh* rant over, you may like it, and i'm sure its quite thrilling, for about 8 seconds, but I don't think I want to travel all the way to america, queue for god knows how long, just to ride that, I'm sorry, but no.

I've asked a while ago how long you have to wait for ttd. It's somewhere between 30min and 1hour and 30min. so no 6 hours to wait[xx(].
I hope i can ride it, when i got summer vancation. [:D][:)][:P]

[lol] hahaha, you make me laugh sometimes you do, lol.

Without making an entirely new thread, can I just ask, can anyone think of a sit down, or stand up B&M, with an Immelmann in it? I mean regular B&Ms, not inverted ones. Thanks

I have not yet got the chance to ride TTD because last year when I went to Cedar Point TTD was closed. So I'm hopeing that this year the line will be not super long so I can ride it.

Same as CPfan. I went last year and it was closed! [:(] Also gouldy, did your dad make the car go up to 120 mph in 3 seconds?

I have never ridden TTD and have no desire to waste 15 seconds of my life on it.

gouldy, Superman @ WBMW has a rollover, not an immelann.

I wouldn't mind riding TTD if the line was less than 15 minutes. I waited for HSXLC last year for about an hour and a half and will never wait that long again for a short ride.

@gouldy: Wildfire at Silver Dollar City has an immelman for its first inversion. It also has airtime on its first drop, which is also rare for a B&M sitdown looper. Here's a picture that I took when I visited the park last year:

(back on topic) changes they should make to TTD: a huge boomerang after the tophat... then a huge corkscrew followed by interlocking dive loops... that would make it good, but only a tophat... its not worth it

I think a -1g ejector hill after the tophat would be even better.

I haven't ridden it, but I made the observation that everyone who rode it likes it, the only people who rant about it are the ones who haven't been on it.
Coaster Commandment #7: Thou shallt not judge a coaster before riding!

I don't care much about the ride beeing short, it's more than just fast, I doubt anyones car has this kind of accelaration or goes up 90 degrees to 420ft and twists down 270 degrees...

And about it beeing short, it can still be the thrill of your life. Bungee Jumping is short. so? That's like saying, "OMG, sex is so crappy, I'm never gonna do it, it's like 15 minutes of work two have a 2 second whoopie."
And the line is nowhere near 6 hours anymore, and it will be even less next year. Think about how much of a line Millennium Force had when it was new. Capacity has also improved.

You may not like it, but I'm sure it doesn't "suck" by any means, and before you say it does, ride it. [launch]

i just want to ride it because it looks like it has tons of airtime!! it may not be as much as SROS but on this ride, it looks like its all at once instead of several short ejections.

Yeah, I know, but since when does TTD accelerate you to 120 mph in 3 seconds? Its 4 seconds pill brain [lol]
