I placed some bushes in my coaster and they somehow got way off the edge of the map. I cant find the nodes for them or select them in any way, but in the simulator you can see them floating in midair.

Question : How can I delete them?

This is the sort of thing which you should simply dismiss. When you create a terrain on NL Terraformer you will see the full extent of editable terrain. Anything beyond this is No Limits trying to be clever and give you a nice surrounding view, however it doesn't understand it when the ground is lower than the default so trees are left floating. But honestly, you can either try and remove it with a custom environment or ignore it (easier).

I did not create a terrain. I put in some .3ds bushes(objects) and cant find them.

make sure the texture for the bushes is the same folder as the object.

THANKs for your help you led me to find the solution.

I looked for the textures and all the files were there, so I took them out, pasted them on my desktop, then in the editor click "delete invalid references". that removed them for me then just put the .3ds files back were they belong. YAY!
