I had to do a Hindenburg project for school due today, and I saw an article in the newspaper that said this Sunday, May 6th, is the 70th anniversary of the accident.
For those of you who do not know, the Hindenburg was the largest built zeppelin (804 ft long and 135 ft wide). It contained more than 7 million cubic feet of hydrogen, which contributed to the explosion. The whole accident occured in 34 seconds.
Feel free to post your thoughts or questions on the Hindenburg here.
