Well, after my little problem with the brakes there, I figured I would post a BTF of the ride on here (excuse the Euphemism, I was a mem. of CS.)

I have been working on this for about 3 days, just got the track done.

It is an Intamin Launched coaster (like out of the station launched...launch [?]) with 3 inversions, 1 unique inversion (kinda like a zero-G-cork, pulls good G's don't worry), and a well, unique, beginning...you'll see.

With a top speed of 55 mph., a max G-force of +4.7, a max -G-force of 1.1G, and a max lat.-G. of .8, you will be pushed and pulled to the extreme reaches of your body.

Oh yeah, I figured I would mention that this is ride for a park who wants some strong thrills on a tight budget, I first wanted this to be like Stormrunner, but then I thought I would go for unique, shorter, tight, strong, G-filled layout, with floater air in three spots-

just figured I would let you know.

Get ready to ride the Horseshoe: A whole new launch experience.

Alright, I just posted 4 more pics of the airtime hill, the 120* banked turn, and the transition to that turn.

Check it! :P

I also figured I would show the cork, even though it is already up there, see what you think:

I'm wondering, how is the cork shaping?

It pulls good G's, but i'm considering on ending it higher, and giving it a shallower exit, in order to pull less G's...

Unless 4.7G's is a turn-on to most people [:p]

The shaping on this is weirder than I thought. Flouter time can be applied to a normal wingover though but it reduces the pace too much IMO.

I never did...?

It speeds through that thing like greased lightning!

And I just tested it again today, after supporting it a little bit, and, the ride now has a max -G of 1.0...not on the airtime hill, but on the INCLINED air-time hill. Also the bottom of the cork pulls 4.5G's now, for some odd reason, that's a relief!

Actually, does anyone want to test this sucker? I think it is better to be safe than sorry. Why would I support something all the way, and not make a decent track, so better safe than sorry.

I will give credits.

Those supports are weird-looking. I'm not saying you have to, but for more realism and neatness I would look at some RCDB pics of supports to base yours off of. Feel free to stay creative though, that's what makes supporting tolerable.

I'm sorry, how do any of these 5 coasters have anything to do with my ride?

I tried to support the ride in a way that was stable and safe, and that is a custom inversion so, why not have custom supports to go with it?

These supports are a pain in the ass. So many pieces of track are in unique places that makes traditional supporting for these rides un-doable. To get that traditional top hat looking support, I had to widen it on the left side to dodge the corkscrew that dives under it making for a wicked headchopper, you'll see. On the second S-bend going down to the drop, I had to once again, leave room for the cork, and there is MUCH more to go. It's not fun but it is necessary for a safe, and thrilling track.

What helix?

I never supported a "helix", or even made one.

I made a drop, after the S-bends...but that is about it...what are you talking about?

That is not a helix, it's a turn, and it is WAY too wide for those supports on Odyssey, way to wide. So, that'll have to do I guess.

Please...all I can say is Auto-Flang those supports...because( no offense) they look so ugly with that color. But the Flangs always make it look better, Can't wait for the ride to be finished.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

I didn't say they had to be exactly the same, I'm just saying yours look nothing like the Intamin style.

I just thought it gave extra support, and I see what you're talking about, but it's new, and it's a new experience.

Ok, we'll have a poll, anyone who agrees or disagrees, post your opinion!

I want to get this right!

Look, I never said you were not helpful, but, my ride is 120ft. off the ground, and that Maverick pic. is about 5ft. off the ground, to 50ft. Like less than half the size of my ride. How many Intamin rides do you know of that have an elevated, well, inversion like this? None.

Thank you though!

Um, there's no fight, but since you two are now talking on this post.

What do you guys think about my supports? Are they safer, and do they look like they fit the ride?

I'm not saying your supports must be EXACTLY like those, I'm just saying that yours are nothing close to the Intamin style and they look flat out weird and unorganized on your ride. I'm suggesting that you BASE YOUR SUPPORTS off of those, so they are more realistic and less sloppy looking.

I agree with Supercell... The supports look too complex and unorginized... Save yourself the time and make simpler and more realistic supports. The supports don't look bad it's just it could make things easier on you if you follow Supercell's points on how the supports should be made.

Uhh, Intamin has made elevated inversions.

I'd suggest using the flying snake dive in Storm Runner as an example. The diving part is at least pretty similar to your inversion, and trust, the supports will look cleaner.
