I have a question how can I make my own texture for an object in the object creator and apply it to an object.

If anyone can tell me how it'd help. Thanks

Well, find a picture you would like to use as a texture, or make your own in a grapic design program. Then save it to your OC textures folder and open OC. Then it should appear in the bottom with the rest of the pre-made textures. Just make an object and select the texture. Reading the tutorial goes in to much more detail so I would suggest reading that if you still have troubles.

You can use paint to make some crappy texture, or if you have something like photoshop, it can help a lot. As for the modeler, try to be efficient, don't use single colored "textures" that are 512x512, add a pattern to it, or use another program and set the color of the material instead of using a texture, or at least set the texture to 1x1.

^the smallest size you can do in OC is 32X32. then its 64, 128, 256, 512, and 1024. you also dont have to have the texture as a square. for instance, it can be 256X64 or 128X1024. whatever size you need.

^Then you can make it the correct size for OC, then resize it after you export to 3ds. As long as the texture's filename doesn't change and stays in the same folder as the 3ds file, then all is good. Just resize it to 1x1, I'm sure NL can still read it as I've done this before.
