I have a feeling this is going to turn into a NL vs. SM topic . . .

I love SM. It has a garb physics engine and not the best sound effects, but I think it's pretty cool and I would definitely buy it.

Plus, designers like Ballerboi and MVjamiroquai have GREAT uploads. Some of my favorite designs, NL or SM, are made by them.

And as far as I know CSims has a good collection of SMs from multiple designers whose names escape me.

Most people here either hate it or love it, so i think you should just try it out.
There is a demo available, if download it you can see for your self

IMO it's a great game. If there is something you don't like about it, sounds, designs, etc, you most likely can change them. Is it worth the money it sells worth, yes.

I'd have to agree with the above post. It is a great game. That said NL is MUCH better! If there was no NL, Scream Machines would be the Holy grail but comparing the two, NL hands down! Graphics and physics are much better in NL IMO. SM does have a lot of different coasters that haven't been made available yet in NL but that is the only thing it has on NL.

Scream Machines has a lot more track and car styles, plus you can create your own.You can also change sounds and stuff if you don't like them. The thing that makes NoLimis better is better graphics, lots of tools, more realistic, etc. It is harder to import objects into Scream Machines, but you can create custom car types. Plus many people don't use Scream Machines anymore, so you will mostly be downloading old tracks.

The best reasons to buy SM are for the 4D, Suspended Arrow, Arrow Hyper, Pipeline, Togo Stand-up, and Invisible design types [:)] Really tight design types, especially the 4D and Arrow Hyper...darn I wish NL had them.

The only substantial downfall of SM that really bothers me is its unpromising future. While NL has quite a bright future, SM doesn't really have any view of upgrading or improving...so...yeah.

I hate how you make an 80 mph launch into a tophat and it feels like you're going 30 mph.

SM's future is perfectly fine. Could be that SM2 comes out before NL2 does...

Well, it all depends on what you want. SM is hard to get used to, but once you do its a piece of cake to build in. Mostly because it's all hand building, no formulas. If you want some help while designing, NL has a few tricks you can use to get your track good, however, it is a more complex game and the end results are the same in both games.

I use SM and i have tried NL and dont like it. Its personal preference. I still have a lot to learn with the game, but im getting it and my latest designs have been pretty good and my next 3 will be the best yet.

Try them both out and make a decision from there.

I tried it once time, and it is boring, the graphics are not good and the sensations are very poor, very bad

Who's lying now [:P]

Scream Machines has finished, his last news update about SM2 was in May 2007.

Sounds like Duke Nukem Forever (DNF)

I speak after seeing the work that is going on and what is done, and what is left to be done. You speak just for talking nonsense [:)]

Really, is there any reason he's not showing the public? You'd expect him to build hype before he releases it.

There is no good reason to hype it yet. The key with hype is timing. If hype is dragged out too long, people will get annoyed and lose interest. They may be aware of the product but having to wait so long for a product may not work as the hype was intended.
Plus Brian has a real job, SM2 is a side thing [:)]

NL is muchh better in my opinion, you can do much more with it and its esier. the only thing i like better about SM is that it gives you more choices with car types.
