I've got a wierd story. I became intrested in 3rd grade when my dad bought me RCT!!! It was just so fun with all those little rides, and guests. Unfortunetly, I had to wait till 6th grade to go to Cedar Point. I learned abou coasters by reading some books, observing sims, and going to websites. Most of you became intrested probably by going to a park for the first time.

AND THERES A FINE LINE BETWEEN A AMUSMENT PARK AND A THEME PARK(i learned that to, god bless the internet.)

well first i went through coaster school. It took me abit longer them most to pass through it, i was having problems getting my marks up high enough to graduat. But after the five years of hard work, i got my degree and was officially a coaster rider. After working for a number of years i returned to school and got my 2nd level paper. This made me a coaster fan. And i was off to work in the coaster industry. I rode rides to make sure they where safe, i greased the little doors that open to let up get on the ride, and finally after working in the bizz liek this for a year, i officially was promoted to coaster enthusiast. GREAT QUESTION! [:)]

Ive always loved to build things since i was small. Both my parents work in the building trade and i guess i just picked up from them that i wanted to design. I guess riding around in 18 wheelers when i was 3 at my dads work place was also a big plus. I remember i got 'Holiday Island' on the PC also, which made my intrestests grow further. Then i got rct, back then it was the best game i ever played, id get home from school at play on it from 4-10 [lol] Also another factor of me liking rollercoasters is the fact that i live about 1/4 of a mile for my local and can see the park out my window....so you know

Like Edge, I've always liked building stuff also...especially with Legos. I then got interested in coasters after riding the Giant Dipper @ Santa Cruz 11 times in a row with no line. I then bgan drawing coasters creating different layouts and stuff or drawing real coasters. I then got a hold of RCT and played that for a while, then got a hold of UR and finally NL. In between all that, I rode even more coasters and learned about different coaster designers/manufacturers and stuff, but was afraid to go upside down until the 7th grade riding the Boomerang.

[lol] I have to agree [lol]

Well, actually when I was young, I hated coasters (its true! I was scared of them and all that trollop [lol])This fear is not an irrational fear however, as I do suffer from quite bad vertigo. But then I bought RCT and thought it was good and it got me into watching videos of rides and looking at pictures of rides and stuff and I liked to just watch coasters then. When I was big enough, I went on Nemesis and found that actually, coasters aren't scary at all, well not in that sense, but they are thrilling and great and brilliant and so on [lol] been a fanatic ever since I was about 11 i think

I used to build lego amusement park rides. I was still too scared to ride coasters. In 8th grade I went on a school field trip to SFKK. I rode the Twisted twins and I was really proud of myself. After that I was not afraid to ride anything. My sister always thought I was terrified to death of roller coasters, but she was really surprised when I rode Chang with her. I am going to cedar point in 33 days. Now I have to convince my sister to ride TTD. None of the people I'm going with will even ride Millenium Force. I'll have to ride by myself.[:(]

I've been a roller coaster fan for as long as I can remember, I think. At first, I was just intrigued by the layout, and (I was like 4, or really young at the time so don't make fun of me) whenever my brother was tall enough for a coaster, and I wasn't, I would cry. My first ever coaster,I think was at Paramount's Great America, we used to go their a lot when I was little. But we stopped going there the year before they built stealth, ANd I haven't been there since, [:(] Well, now its gone, I've been complaining about that, too, because PGA is my mom's favorite park, and she wants to go there again soon, anyways, back on topic. My first ever looping coaster was a "terrain" arrow called canyon blaster, and it's located at the Adventure Dome (or something like that) in Las Vegas. That ride is cool, because there is never a line, so you just go on it over and over again. I went on it close to 20 times one day, then we went and played laser tag. heres the statistics and pictures for it. [:)] http://www.rcdb.com/installationdetail104.htm And then, sometime later, I was looking for a roller coaster designer about a year before RCT came out. And then when I found it, I wouldn't stop asking my parents for it. And then, I eventually "stole" it from my cousin's house. He came over to play it, but I didn't let him take it back to his house to play. L8r that christmas, I got the game itself, I think my cousin was more excited than me, though because he could finally get his game back, lol. After that, about a year or to l8r, I became an non coaster enthusiest, at this time, they were just fun, but I wasn't addicted to them. (Knott's still had crap coasters at this time, I think, and I never went to SFMM, so I kinda just gave it up, cuz their was nothing exciting.) THen when RCT 2 came out, I was excited, although it was a big dissapointment, and its "expansion packs" were all crap, not worth more than $10 combined, it still got me back into be a roller coaster "enthusiest" then sometime after, I got bored with RCT 2, and wanted something more, like a FPCS (first person, coaster sim), and so I was looking, I had already known about Ultimate Ride, ect. I didn't like how it was set up, so I didn't buy it, right away. Then One day, I found this site, and I was all like, hmm, what's this no limits, I must have it. Well, then after begging my dad, I finally got it, and then I went to six flags the same week I got it, lol. But, I still wasn't really active on wws.com even though I had an account. Then I went over to CoasterDicks.com and it took me a while to find out how mean and stupid they were. Cause, well, I tried to log on at my dad's work, and it screwed up my account, and I wasn't ever able to log back on. So, I created a new one, they banned, me, I did it again, week l8r I got band, again, second l8r I got banned, waited a month, a month l8r I got a personal ban, and that's when I realized that the admins of CoasterDicks are retards, and don't listen to anybody. THen I went looking for another site, I wanted to join the site that had the really good Xcelerator ride, didn't realize that it was this site, so I kept on looking for it on Coasters2k, then about 2 weeks l8r, I found it here, and decided to become active, and because of this site, I learned a lot more about rides, and I stop hating forums, and I learned very much, I learned how to design coasters. If it wasn't for this site, I might still be looking for NL, lol. And that's so far my biography as a coaster enthusiest, lol. Sorry its so long. [:D]

Well I had RCT, and I suppose it was what caused me to ride some of my first ever coasters. I went on a trip to Florida, where I became totally hooked and when downloading some rct2 files, I found NoLimits. Havent got bored of it since!

Most people get RCT and nothing else. They use it to crash rides, and drown guests. That's all they do. It's very annoying that they don't really do anything else. Then, years pass by and they forget all about RCT. It's sad.

Same with RCWacko212. I'm getting crazier amd crazier into coasters each day because I can't wait for my trip to CP (unfortunatly, it's going to be in August, when school starts probably.)
