CRAP!!! It's going to go right over me... :( I live a few hours inland though so I hope it will weaken. There still is that chance for tornados being formed, but I hope that doesn't happen.

the huuricane is now a cat3 storm it looks like it is going to hit alaaba and not florida.n Costercazy florida is not going to get hit by this hurricane so your trip to disneyworld should be good it looks like alaba is going to get the worst of the strom flordia is just going to get a liitle bit of clouds and rain. It looks like I am going to get rain form the hurricane here in lanaster pa it will be a trpical storm and not a hurricane.

OK, Sunday morning radar ... the "T" you know -- the arrow indicates the projected path. Now, anything to the East of that arrow is going to get pounded, violently ... again ... note the location of the "T".

*Sigh*

Of course, I have the digital camera all set up and here is the first shot of the day at 9:45 am -- obviously nothing to see yet, except some light drizzle. All images should be pointing directly South (out the front door), unless something interesting is happening out back. ;-)

More to follow as the day progresses. Hope to (at the very least) keep you guys entertained with some excellent shots of what nature can do!

Good question! I have to take the pic (as with any camera), and then DL it to the comp and upload as a JPG here. It is not automated.

EDIT: In an effort to just update one locale, here is the site where pics will be uploaded as they become available:

As far as us, that storm was a joke. I have not seen any real reports from farther west, but we got a nice glancing blow thanks to the colder waters in the gulf from TS Cindy, Dennis weakened right before making landfall.

They go through PA also. When Ivan hit last year we had record flooding, and I was stuck out in it playing an American football game.[:(]

Hurricanes sometimes go thougth pa but they are tropical storms or depsons when they get in pa. the worst storm I had here in lancaster pa was a tropical storm that storm whent thougth lancaster pa in 2003 I still rember that storm becuse I got a day off from scholl it was fun but scry. the govner of pa dicaed an mericane so I had the day off form scholl it was fun but I was relly scard that there was going to be torndoes or major flooding and that is what happend. Hurricane dennis is now a depson so all pa will get is relly havy rain with some flooding. There is another depson in the altic ocene now I hope that it dosn'nt become a hurricane. There was alot of damage in alaba and the panhadle of floida I fell bad for the peole living in albama and florida becuse they had bad hurricanes it there last year and some peole are still rebulding there houses and now dennis want thougth florida and albama it was a cat3 storm when it hit land yesterday.

Accually from what i read in the paper, this hurricane was nothing compared to Ivan, it did "moderate" structual damage but no loss of life or anything

Exactly Monty. We were expecting to get blasted and ended up being pee'd on. It just was not all we thought it would be. Southern 'Bama and the Panhandle took some water issues though which I am going to go view this weekend to see how things faired.

Geez, this makes me glad that I'm in Minnesota, but that means I'm in tornado country so we have our own share of problems, [lol].
