TheArchitect, would I be able to nab a seat? I live in bedfordshire, It's a bit far, but it'd be a huge help for me and my friends [:D]

I think I'd be coming from Leicestershire so I could probably just dive off the M1 to pick you up and it shouldn't add too much onto the journey.. [depending on your exact location hah]

I also have a couple friends that I'd like to come, would that be an issue?

Yes. Your proximity to Luton leads me to believe one of your "friends" will stab me, after attempting to convert me to Islam... [lol]

well My friend lives in Barton with me, that's my best friend (who you've already met, and did not stab you)
the other is the guy who lives in Bedford who's training to be an engineer at Alton Towers.
AKA; You're favourite theme park, DANIEL.
So you're safe.

Yeah I'm definitely not taking my missus as she won't ride stuff (refuses to ride stealth front seat) and that isn't far out of my way personally so as long as they stab me whilst at thorpe park after we've ridden swarm at least i'll die in a happy place.

There are poop loads of them at thorpe, i'm suprised there is a plane simulator ride, maybe the crashed plane wing on Swarm was for ethnic cleansing. But don't get me started on all that, especially whilst at thorpe (we would spend the whole day whispering anyway).

But yeah, looking forward to it guys. Looks like im coming up alone at this rate :(

Alton Towers isn't my favourite theme park. Who is feeding you these lies? [lol]

How is everyone fixed in terms of dates, these days? I remember we always used to have to do this stuff on weekends, because the majority of us were at school. I can book off any weekday if we wanted to try and get there when it was less busy, although I don't want to make it so someone can't go, either. If we're fixed to weekends or school holidays, then so be it - it would still be awesome, but if we are not bound by school, then that would be even awesomer.

well has anyone cared to take a look at "march 15th"

It's a thursday. book your work off! Notice how I put "opening day" as in "the day it opens" or "preferably not the the day it does not open"
something along the lines of "the first day that it is open, which does not flex around work"
But if it really is an issue, then we could change it, but crowds could affect it. Opening day is usually fairly okay, since it's a day that people try to avoid.

March 15th is my birthday! Take a picture of you guys in front of The Swarm with a caption that says "Happy Birthday AJ!!!" so my self-esteem skyrockets.

I would imagine all of us. I don't think any of us suddenly thought "you know what, roller coasters are very silly and meeting people who like them would only lead to trouble and loss of bladder control".
