you see i see some amazing roller coasterers on nl but they always seem to have 100s of vertices, how do you do it?

what so that puts all those vertices on your track automatically?

^The basic concept is that you can input an unbanked track, and the AHG will bank in an attempt to minimize the lateral g forces. You may also heartline the track a specified amount around the riders' bodies and detail where the banking occurs. For instance, on my yet-to-be-released woodie, I went through and specified all the bankings and had the AHG turn it into a new track with even node spacing and smoother banking transitions.

There is lots of discussion all over mutiple sites about how to use everything (just search around) -- but yeah man, once you start using tools you open an entirely different door into designing. Good luck.

Getting familiar with the tools, particularly FVDs can be quite difficult, but after grasping the concepts designing rides becomes an entirely different process. IMHO, tools are great, if you can use them properly :)
