I need 3ds tires that have much better textures, are shaped and look like actual tires and not 3ds circles. Coasterkidmwm made these eons ago and I want something more realistic looking. Can someone who is experienced in 3ds make these 3ds tires from object creator, NOT sketch up. I do not want black faces on my tires. I will donate 10,000 points.

And if someone does make them for you, how would you like them arranged? Like in pairs of 2, or just half allow full customization?
You expecting something not being here?

You know, there's a fix for the black faces. It works pretty well when the model is made right in Sketchup.

^It depends on how the object is made. In sketchup each face has a white and dark side....First of all, the side that will be visible in the simulator MUST be white in sketchup. After Exporting the 3DS use Anim8or to fix the "Ambient color" so it matches.

The sides need to have "Thickness" to them so that the you don't get the disappearing faces. However this can be avoided by using my group and reverse method....But I only use it for catwalks or objects that have transparent textures like Grids, glass, etc.

They are much nicer but they have three big problems.
1. The tires are too small even when enlarged. I think they should twice the diameter and a bit thicker to look more realistic.

2. The tires do not touch the smooth part of the car sides. they should touch just above the wheel guards like this.

3. The bottom of the frame that holds each tire to the side needs to be going through the main track tube so that the cars brake fins do not hit the tire's frame.

Ya tire size is too small, i'll fix that. But where the heck do these tires ride? They dont look much higher than the rail height. Theres no way its above the wheel fender? Any other real pics?

That because the real Japanese cars are different from our American Arrow Dynamics cars. The Japanese cars have metal pads on the sides where the tires rub I think.

Okay so I made the tire bigger and got the height about a tires width above the rail. But as far as the tire touching the car its not gonna happen. Pretty sure it shouldn't ride on that part of the car and that between each wheel assembly there must be some metal surface. And as far as the cross member hitting the brake fins you just had the wheels to high up. So the 3ds will match these pictures, but wont touch the car.

Thanks so much for the new 3ds tires. They look great on my Meisho jet coaster. I donated 10,000 points to you for doing this for me.
