2 new Intamin designs realeased in the space of a few month, sweet!
Maybe we now have competition for s+s, although the prototype looked extremly fun, im not sure the intensity will be percieved at the same as X or the Japanese version.
Nevertheless it looks great, good find.

It'll be hard to touch the intensity of x with a 460-something foot coaster.

Do you think Cedar Point is doing the same thing, a 4-d ride or a ball coaster? lol[launch]

Yes, but it's not controlled. Think about it more like a spinning mouse, tipped over sideways.

I suppose the LIMs launch it up an incline to the 83ft height? With a top speed of 27.3 mph, I don't think a flat launch track is going to get it up that hill.

3 Million Euros for an 83ft 27mph coaster????

They got ROBBED.
My body isn't a temple. It's an amusement park.

They hardly got robbed. 3 Million Euros is worth the publicity they'll be getting alone.

I used free webs to translate the section of the article. You can get the general idea.
The current bestseller in Intamin is the Hydraulic Launch Coaster. After Cedar Point with the new hydraulics Antriebstechnologie 2003 could attack into new heights dimensions, this year gets itself the Six flies group with Kingda Ka the heights record back. With a total height of 139 meters, the train in the Six fly Great Adventure will surpass the "competitor" Top Thrill Dragster in the Cedar Point around eleven meters. 206 hours kilometers of maximum speed are required in order to overcome the perpendicularly looming rails product. A Speed-hill follow the tower construction with of magnet brake installed in the departure.

The first extraditions to Europe cannot compete in height and speed to be sure, offer however more varied layouts. The building of canon in the Swedish Liseberg with two inversions lies before the timetable so that the starting already was able to result. The end of April is supposed to be released the train for the park visitors. Far advanced also the structural work in the English Alton tower where Rita serves from beginning April with a winding layout. Further units for the European room are presently in the conversation.

The newest development in the area already bandage attractions is the ball Coaster. Whose rail passes completely in a vertical plain by what means the necessary base is very slight. The smallest concern model requires only 36 front meters and 10 meters of depth. The single vehicles consist of four rows for two persons apiece, who are arranged to the left and to the right next to the rail. At each side, two rows back are at back. The chip expanse of the vehicle amounts to four meters.

Schwindererregende over blows in the pendulum intoxication the vehicles are accelerated and reach by means of LSM-drives, so-called linear synchronically motors, which are used in Katapultcoastern since 1997, in obliquely increasing stretch segments after a superelevation a depression that serves as a block subdivision and out of which the vehicles become again per LSM herausbeschleunigt. Because the passenger carriers are stored around a central axis revolving, accidental swing movements arise through the acceleration up to the over blow. The gondola rotation can be influenced in addition by magnet brake in the stretch course.

Momentarily Intamin presents three studies of different size. They have everyone jointly that as a termination element a type is planned turned around Omega. At the same time the vehicle fells first of all into a valley, climbs again up, runs over a crest and fells a further time, this time back into the station. The largest study with six vehicles and a section length of 211 meters offers a finale case height of 20 meters. The maximum speed lies in 70 km/h. According to arrangement, along inclinations of more are planned than 90 degrees. As a test stretch, an unit with a rise was erected in Lucerne, that offers load report according to already an extremely unusual and dynamic experience. In the introduced studies, an optical dynamics arises also for the spectator, there itself at least three vehicles on the stretch upwards swing.

RCT3, possibly? I've been messing around with the Coasterball on that game for many months. It rotates freely, and I can get a good idea on how this will feel(for the designs I've made), and I'm sure, no matter the height and speed, it should be a thrill.

But hey, maybe it wont rotate freely, as it does with RCT3.

EDIT: Didn't see the second page. [:O]

Coolbeans pretty much summed it up

My link is the same exact source real sited as well, I believe.

I'm guessing that any inversions will be caused by the acceration and deacceleration of the ride.
