Is there a way of creating a video of your coasters that you make in NL? Whether it be through using the program itself or by using a separate program?

It's fine, but you can only get up to 30 seconds of video.

You can set it to a low resolution, which usually corrects framerate issues. (try 640x480, or 800x600)

That's far worse unless you have a really good camera and are using an LCD.

For fraps, you can try to find ways around the 30 second time limit by taking various parts of the ride (keeping the cam still as you can, try pressing the M key to delink the mouse) and editing the clips together, with something like windows movie maker, whatever works for you.

You can't do that because the video will come out really bad. The screens on computers have a faster refresh rate than the camera shoots frames per minute. A standard LCD screen will refresh about 60-75 times per second and the camera refreshes 30 frames per second.

Could it be that your computer just cant take in all the data? You need decently powerful computers to do any sort of video capture thats done in real time. So unless your machine is a beast, expect lower than expected quality.

For videos I just film the screen with my digital camera. It looks crappy, but it's good enough to be able to feel the essence of the ride.
